“EMPOWER 2011: is ROTA’s 3rd Annual Youth Conference on Leadership, Service Learning and Global Citizenship”. This year’s conference will take place on Thursday 14th– Saturday 16th April 2011 at the new Student Centre, in Education City, Doha, Qatar.
EMPOWER Youth Conference is part of a series of four youth development initiatives currently led by ROTA’s Qatar program. This three day youth led conference seeks to energize, mobilize and inspire leadership and civic responsibility among Qatar’s youth.
The conference is aimed at youth between the ages of 14 to 24 years as well as all youth educators and workers.
EMPOWER Youth Conference, is the first of its kind in seeking to create a platform for young people in Qatar to be empowered and equipped for leadership and to express a concerted voice in addressing local and global issues within a practical learning context.
